Our Therapy and Counselling Services

Your healing creates a ripple effect of care

At EHC, each standard therapy session funds another for someone in financial need. By investing in yourself, you’re helping to heal the world, at no extra cost to you.

What should I expect during counselling?

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it’s the beginning of meaningful change. Each person’s healing journey is unique, and your therapist will support you at whatever pace you feel most comfortable with.

The process starts with a consultation, where we’ll get a bit of information about you and the reasons you’re seeking support. Our team will match you with the counsellor that’s the best fit for your needs.

How you want to approach any of your sessions is up to you. Sometimes you just want a safe space to cry or to vent, and sometimes you may want to work toward productive solutions for healing. There’s no right or wrong way to do therapy, and your counsellor will support you however you decide to show up.

Some of our approaches include:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
  • Sand Tray Therapy
  • Art Therapy
  • Hypnotherapy
  • Integrated Relationship and Intimacy Therapy

Note: As a result of the increasing number of individuals needing counselling support and the reduced capacity across the mental health landscape, we have implemented a 12-session limit for all our counselling services. We thank you for your continued support and patience as we work to address the increasing need for mental health support and access to services. Want to help expand our capacity? Donate today, or explore our partnership options.
